Code of Conduct

Purpose

HDI believes our community should be truly open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.

This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

We invite all sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, media, exhibitors and other participants to help us realize a safe and positive conference experience for everyone.

Expected Behavior

  • You will behave in a way as to create a safe and supportive environment for all Service Management World (including Service Management World employees, moderators, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers).
  • You will not engage in disruptive speech or behavior or otherwise interfere with the event or other individuals’ participation in the event.
  • You will not engage in any form of harassing, offensive, discriminatory, or threatening speech or behavior, including (but not limited to) relating to race, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or other protected category.
  • You will comply with the instructions of the moderator and any Service Management World event staff.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any attendees or exhibitors, as well as phishing or promotional spamming of any kind.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by other attendees, media, speakers, volunteers, organizers, venue staff, sponsors, or exhibitors.

Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the event without warning or refund.

What to do if You Witness or are Subject to Unacceptable Behavior

The above policies may be revised at any time by Informa and are non-negotiable. This Code of Conduct is without prejudice to Informa’s rights, all of which it expressly reserves.

Scope

We expect all event participants (including moderators, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and HDI employees) to uphold the principles of this Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct covers the event and all related events (virtual, social or otherwise). Informa employees participating in events must continue to abide by all company policies at all times.

Attendance Policy

Informa (and any third party platform provider acting on our behalf) will use your personal information provided during the registration process to host and manage this event, and for analyzing visitor traffic with a view to improving the event experience for visitors.

During registration, you may have chosen to withhold permission to share your data with third parties (i.e. sponsors & exhibitors), however when entering an exhibition booth (in person, or virtually) your personal information will be shared with the exhibitor to allow them to engage with you. If you agree to share your full contact details directly with another attendee or exhibitors they may follow-up and use your details for marketing purposes.
